Introducing the official 494th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron Blue Flag 2023 patch, an item that commemorates the squadron's planned participation in Exercise Blue Flag last October, a prestigious multinational air combat training event in Israel.

Featuring a fierce, detailed design of the squadron's iconic panther charging forward, the patch showcases a blend of national symbols from the United States and Israel. The striking combination of bold colours and intricate elements, such as the Star of David and fighter jets of Rafale, F-35, F-16 and Typhoon, embodies the strength and solidarity of the allies.

Although the exercise last year was cancelled due to unforeseen world events, this custom patch stands as a symbol of readiness, international partnership, and the spirit of cooperation. It was inappropriate to release the patch at the time of the exercise due to what had happened in the Middle East. One year on, we release this patch with profits going toward humanitarian aid in the Middle East.
