We’re crossing the Atlantic for our next release - where the Strike Eagles of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base have been brought into the spotlight with our new release for the Lancers of the 333rd Fighter Squadron!

It’s been a joy to see our work for the many units at RAF Lakenheath lead to this incredible project. Part of the 4th Fighter Wing, the Lancers asked us to create something new and vibrant, which broke the mould from patches they have worn before but which still links to their heritage.

We’ve majored on a knight in armour, surging forward with lance thrust towards the viewer. Our creative team then devised a powerful image of the awesome F-15 ripping vapour from the air in a tight turn before launching its modern lance, in the form of an AIM-120 AMRAAM. Slicing around the horse, with its golden bridle displaying the letters ‘SJ,’ the jet is presented above text reading ‘333rd,’ representing both the 333rd Fighter Squadron and its associated 333rd Fighter Generation Squadron. The knight defends against any foe with a shield that proudly presents four past steeds of ‘The Lancers’ - the A-10 Thunderbolt II, A-7 Corsair II, F-105 Thunderchief and F-100 Super Sabre.

We are so pleased to have been able to work with the 333rd on this project. It may not be the last of those we’ll be releasing for Seymour Johnson Strike Eagle operators, so watch this space!
