UK/CANADA CHINOOK EXCHANGE

We’re pleased to announce our latest patch, recognising the Chinook Exchange Programme between Canada and the United Kingdom.

The programme consists of an exchange of pilots between RAF Odiham’s 27 Squadron in the UK and 450 Squadron of the RCAF at Petawawa Air Base in Ontario, Canada.

The exchange programme is awarded to pilots of the highest calibre, seeing them head ‘across the pond’ to gain experience with the other air force, flying the Boeing CH-47F in Canada and the Chinook Mk.5/6/6A in the UK.

It is an honour to celebrate such a unique opportunity for pilots with a commemorative patch for those involved.
