Some time ago, this striking patch was commissioned by the RAF’s XI(F) Squadron, before they deployed on Operation SHADER. We are very pleased to finally be unveiling it and making a small number available to enthusiasts. 

For security reasons we elected not to release this patch whilst the Squadron was in theatre but we are glad that they returned from a safe and successful detachment.

The patch features a Typhoon FGR.4 releasing a Paveway IV GPS/laser-guided munition. Behind it are XI(F) Squadron’s twin eagles and the shield upon which they feature when the jets are adorned with the Squadron’s markings. Hidden amongst the UK’s Union Flag, is the outline of RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus.

We are incredibly honoured to have been asked to contribute to the proud operational history of this most excellent Squadron.
