This patch has been very personal and a real joy for us to create. When a pilot approaches his last flight on a squadron it’s a big day and in this case a group of low flying photographers approached us to ask if we would create a ‘fini’ patch for one much-respected character leaving the 494th Fighter Squadron at RAF Lakenheath.

We spent some time talking to ‘Crow’ and building into it a few features very close to his heart, to create a very special memory of his time in England. Qualified by day and by night, Lakenheath’s Strike Eagle pilots fly a very demanding mission - so we recognised that with two versions for him - night and day.

Having been most grateful for the gesture made by his friends in the UK low flying photography community in commissioning this, Crow has graciously said he would like the patch to be available to others who takes an interest in such patches created for those in USAFE service, so we are able to offer a limited number to public sale.
